I am ZiYan Britt and I am an independent tutor based in Durham, who comes to you, whether it be at your home or a local library.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (pre-med) from Augusta University and three years of hands-on experience in neuroscience research under my belt.  While an undergrad, classmates would often ask me to tutor them after seeing my detailed notes and deep understanding of topics.  I discovered that I enjoy teaching others and helping them succeed so, I started to tutor kids in the Triangle as a side hustle.  I have since decided to transition into full-time tutoring and have a range of clients from  1st graders to high schoolers.  

I tutor kids from K-12 as well as college students at the undergraduate level.  I’m familiar with a variety of subjects and topics listed below. My approach is interactive and engaging, which makes learning more fun. I often incorporate online resources, games, and a whiteboard with colorful markers to make the session more exciting for students.  

Further, I keep a positive attitude and continuously encourage students to conquer their learning challenges. My goal is to team up with students and parents to help students achieve their goals and shine academically.
